As you may know this last weekend we recently went down to Sydney for the PrintEx/Visual Impact Expo and the National Printing and Craftsmanship Awards.
It was a huge night. The icons of the industry were there. All the big players competing for Gold!
2015 National PICA Awards
The National Awards is the best of the best in the Printing Industry from around the country. There were just under 800 entries in total that are judged by a panel of expert Industry Judges to award the winners. There was approximately 500 who attended the Awards Ceremony and Dinner.
I must say there were a few moments when we felt like the David amongst the Goliaths of the Industry! haha 🙂
Mr & Mrs InkFX 🙂
We had a couple of entries in 2 different categories. Speciality Printing and Wide Format Printing.
The first category that came up for us was the Wide Format category which we won a SILVER Medal in. I was very pleased with that result amidst such tough competition.
And the Winner is…
Our next category that came up was the Speciality Printing category. This is the Category that we won the Gold for in the Queensland State PICA Awards late last year.
To say we were a little nervous hearing this one announced was a massive understatement. Either way, Bronze…Silver…and then Gold to Ink FX Printing!! Oh Yeah!!!
How exciting is it when you order some of your photos to get printed online (@InkFX of course!!) and then it arrives! You can’t wait to open your package and see what you ordered. Only to find that it’s been damaged in transit!! aaaaahhh!!! Total bummer!! Over the years we’ve sent out hundreds and thousands of photos to our clients. Unfortunately on the odd rare occasion we’ve had a few get damaged in transit…
Here at InkFX we see hundreds and hundreds of files every week from hundreds and hundreds of different photographers. Some Professionals, some Semi-Professional and some Amateurs, this is why we have made this article on How to Crop and Size Your Images and we hope you like it! 🙂
This is more of a service update. We’re currently experiencing issues with our BigCommerce.com store.
Impact: product pages are displaying blank pages.
We have been in touch with BigCommerce multiple times and they’re currently working on the issue. We will advise as soon as it is resolved. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Update: 7:50am – Just spoke to the developer team at BigCommerce and they have said they have fixed the issue and are now testing the fix, once testing is completed and 100% satisfactory they will be deploying the fix. Our site should be updated very soon – fingers crossed.
Update: 9:44am – Site is now back working and fully operational!
